Meet Joey the Pygmy goat! Joey was born at Clearwater Farm in December 2009.  At 11 years old, he is one of our oldest goats.  What sets Joey apart from the other goats are his two long horns and beard!

Joey’s mother, Nana, came to us from the southside of La Crosse. What nobody knew was that Nana was pregnant. On a cold winter day, Nana surprised everyone with a new baby goat!  Because Joey was born around the holidays, he was named Joseph, but we just call him Joey. Nana has since passed away, but Joey is still quite happy and healthy. He enjoys sleeping out in the barnyard while chewing his cud. The next time you stop by the farm, try to spot Joey lying outside in one of the fields or on the goat playground!
