Summer Youth Gardens

Participants learn how to grow food on a budget in a small, manageable space. Many of our participants have special needs, and gardening serves as a vehicle for teaching social and emotional skills such as teamwork and respect. We also promote physical fitness through outdoor recreation. Each week offers a nature craft, group game or project, plus a nutritious snack with recipes to take home to share with families.
